Memory

T-bao Tbook MN25's come with either 4/8/16/32GB of DDR-2400 non ECC memory as standard. The 8GB model comes with 2 x 4GB MAIGUANG sticks, part number MG8ATF511264HZ-2G1A2.

Upgraded to 16GB of DDR4-2666 memory from Corsair with part number CMSX8GX4M1A2666C18.

Note

DDR4-2666 memory is going to run at 2400 Mhz as that's the maximum memory frequency supported by the AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 2500U.
Faster RAM was purchased because it was cheaper.

NVMe SSD

T-bao Tbook MN25's comes with either 128/256/512GB of ASint NVMe SSD. As the NVMe SSD is located on the underside of the MN25 and receives no direct cooling, it tends to overheat quite often and prevent the device from booting. A small heat sink aleviates most temperature issues but the ASint drive remains a relatively cost effective drive so performance remains underwhelming.

Upgraded to a Samsung 980 500GB SSD, part number MZ-V8V500BW just as in the QNAP TS-873A.

As a preventative measure to any further overheating issues, the drive was fitted with a 10mm ICY BOX M.2 SSD heat sink.

Potential additional upgrades

SATA SSD

T-bao's Tbook MN25 support one 2.5 inch SATA SSD. Any of the Samsung 860 PRO, Samsung 870 EVO or Crucial MX 500 would be more than adequate for the job.
